Pentaborane Safety BulletinWhile once of great interest as a military-sponsored, high-energy liquid rocket propellant, pentaborane (B5H9) is a very dangerous chemical. This bulletin was issued on August 14, 1998 to potential recipients of pentaborane manufactured by Callery Chemical (a former division of MSA that was purchased by BASF Corporation in September 2003) as well as to waste management agencies, treatment/disposal facilities, and environmental consulting/services firms who may encounter pentaborane in a remedial response or waste management setting. This electronic version of the bulletin is in the Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view or print it. The Acrobat reader is available free of charge for DOS, Windows, Macintosh and Sun SPARC workstations. If you cannot read this electronic version or would prefer that a hard copy be faxed or mailed to you, please contact: Lawrence
