MSA, gas masks, and chemical / biological terrorism

MSA makes gas masks to help protect American military personnel, first responders (firefighters, police, emergency medical services personnel) and industrial workers from airborne chemical and biological threats.

Since Sept. 11, the demand for gas masks has been strong, and MSA is working around the clock to meet it. Currently, supplies are limited, and MSA gas masks are available ONLY through our authorized distribution channels, such as Armor Holdings. (Call MSA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-MSA-2222 for a distributor near you.)

We do not sell these products directly to consumers. Important: Many gas masks sold at the retail level do not meet NIOSH standards. More important: Without the proper training, fit, filter media, hazard identification, etc., a gas mask could be largely ineffective.
