MSA's new Vulcan Rescue Harness, a confined space and rescue harness that is rated for fall arrest, also allows for integration of the MSA Vulcan SCBA Harness back plate. By incorporating these features, the Vulcan Rescue Harness can be used for industrial rescue, emergency rescue response, and confined space entry.

The extremely versatile Vulcan Rescue Harness can help you during emergency rescue situations that might include confined space entry or other hazardous environments such as smoke, gases, fumes, and the possibility of a fall. Available in four sizes, it can be used either with or without the SCBA unit. Connection to the Vulcan SCBA back plate takes only minutes.

Features include the side-entry vest-style design for easy donning and doffing; adjustable sub-pelvic support for greater comfort and mobility during periods of extended work-positing; redundant connection points at waist to eliminate the possibility of accidental disengagement; and waist, torso, and thigh strap adjustment points to accommodate all body shapes and sizes.

The harness currently meets all applicable fall arrest and rescue/retrieval regulations and awaits NIOSH approvals as an accessory to the MSA Vulcan SCBA unit.
