The new OrionTM Multigas Detector has what you want in a portable monitor for O2, H2S, CO, and combustible gas. It is easy to use, reliable, and built to take the roughest abuse, including drops of up to six feet. Its low price includes a charger and optional internal pump.

The Orion Detector features a large, easy-to-read display; simple, intuitive two-button operation; and one-button calibration. Its backlit display enables easy reading in low light. Resistance to dust and water is one benefit of its tough, durable construction.

You can use either NiMH (nickel metal hydride) or alkaline batteries. A four-hour charge of the NiMH battery pack provides protection and gas detection for up to 16 hours. Readily available alkaline batteries provide about 20 hours of continuous operation.

Choose the optional internal pump if you want a 16- to 20-hour run time for double shifts.

The Orion Detector is compatible with MSA’s FiveStar® Link software used by our popular FiveStar Alarm, the leader in its class. The software’s graphing capability lets you see all gases simultaneously, or focus on one gas at a time. The “zoom” feature lets users expand any portion of a single gas graph to focus on the activity in more detail.
