Pulsar Detectors simplify detection of H2S, CO, or O2

Already much in demand are MSA's new Pulsar™ Single Gas Detectors, whose triple warnings enable you to "see," "feel," and "hear" the presence of H2S, CO, or O2. They are ideal if you work in an environment related to petrochemical, chemical, construction, metals, pharmaceutical, and utility industries.

"We really did our homework with the Pulsar detectors," remarked product line manager Ron Baughman. "This new 'star' in MSA's Stellar™ Series of gas detectors has been designed to meet customers' requirements in many ways. Pulsar detectors have been so well received by the marketplace that we've sold more than four times what we anticipated. People in the field really can't wait to get their hands on them."

A Pulsar Detector delivers a series of audio, vibrating, and visual alarms the moment it senses the hazard. Powered by a long-life lithium battery that offers 33% more capacity than competitive power sources, all Pulsar models are designed to deliver a 24-month service life.

Pulsar detectors are outfitted with a large, easy-to-read displays and are housed in durable, high-impact cases that have earned an environmental protection rating of IP54. These business card-sized detectors are virtually impervious to water and dust, and can withstand the impact of a 6-foot drop. Spring and suspension clips keep the unit in place during rough use, and solid electrolyte stainless steel sensors eliminate the possibility of sensor leakage. These features add up to very reliable performance.

Maybe best of all, Pulsar Detectors cost a fraction of the cost of conventional detectors: about $300 for 24 months of protection. No maintenance. This means that companies can cost-effectively provide protection for every employee who needs it.
