Safety Workssm recognized by Home Depot and
This Old House magazine
It's
always good to hear - from someone else -- that you're doing something
well. Over the past few months, MSA Safety Works has heard from a national
retailer and a national magazine that we are doing several things well.
Working with Home Depot
Home Depot, an MSA Safety Works strategic partner, presented MSA with
a plaque to recognize the company for our commitment to partnership in
the wake of the 9-11 tragedy. Home Depot also acknowledged MSA in their
marketing meeting video presentation in January 2002.
"We worked closely with Home Depot to get Safety Works products to the
disaster sites," said John Shields, MSA Safety Works sales manager. "We
went the extra mile to be sure we were doing everything we possibly could
to help with the situation, and Home Depot was with us every step of the
way. We worked as a team, and it's really a compliment to be recognized
by such a well-respected company."
Offering new products
Recognition
for Safety Works continued in This Old House magazine. In the January/February
2002 issue, MSA's new patented Combination Eye & Hearing Protection product
was promoted to the home-renovation audience.
This new all-in-one ear plugs/safety glasses product consists of an anti-fog,
anti-UV wraparound lens and ear pods that attach to the end of fully adjustable
temples. Available to consumers from leading retailers, this combination
is ideal for many homeowners engaged in home repair and renovation tasks
and hobbies.
MSA Safety Works also recently introduced a new line of tinted Small Faces
Safety Glasses, designed to fit smaller faces. Outfitted with anti-fog,
UV-protective lenses, and comfortable rubber ear tips, the new Small Faces
Safety Glasses with narrow-profile frames fit children and adults with
smaller faces.
